"Mahendra Yadav's attacker is not affiliated with RPP" - Rana

KATHMANDU, Sep 7: RPP leader Dhaval Shumsher Rana has said that the person who attacked Mahendra Yadav, the Joint General Secretary of Nepal Congress, is not affiliated with RPP.

Speaking at the House of Representatives on Thursday, Rana said that he saw the attack on Yadav first-hand at the Reporters Club and demanded the attacker be punished accordingly.

Rana also stated that RPP does not believe in the violent ideology of politics. He said, "RPP never believes in the politics of violence. Let it be clear that the person who attacked was not affiliated with our party in any way. And action should be taken against him accordingly."
