RSP calls parliamentary party meeting
KATHMANDU, Aug 25: The parliamentary party meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is being held today. Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar told Ratopati that the meeting has been called for 5 pm at the party office in Singha Darbar.
According to Pariyar, the election of the Chairpersons of the parliament’s subjective committees, resolutions registered by the party in the parliament and the proposals of public importance will be discussed in the meeting.
The schedule has been published to elect the chairperson on August 28 at 3 pm. When the parliamentary committee was divided between the ruling party and the main opposition, the nationally recognized RSP and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) were bypassed. Pariyar said that the meeting will decide whether or not to nominate a candidate for the chairman of the committee.
