Koshi Provincial Assembly adjourned after boycott by UML and RPP

BIRATNAGAR, Aug 23: Today's session of the Koshi Provincial Assembly meeting has been adjourned after CPN-UML and RPP boycotted the meeting.

The MPs of UML and RPP rose from their seats and started protesting as soon as the meeting started.

While speaking in the assembly, UML MP Tilkumar Menyangbo protested against Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa's vote confidence and claimed it was unconstitutional.

He shouted slogans saying that the Speaker has the power to take other unconstitutional actions.

After his speech, all the MPs of UML and RPP left the meeting and the Provincial Assembly was adjourned.
