CPN (US) proposes 8-point Work Plan

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: CPN (Unified Socialist) has proposed an 8-point work plan for the management of party work. 

In the 6th meeting of the Central Committee meeting of the party that started on Tuesday, Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal presented the Ideological Political report where the blueprint of the party’s priority works is included, where organizational, ideological and publicity works are the main priorities. 

The party is going to prioritize Conventional works as preparations are being made to organize the party’s Convention in five months.

In the report of Chair Nepal, distribution and renewal of party membership is the first priority under organizational work. Under this, it is mentioned that the party committee and the committees of the People's professional community organization will hold a meeting by September 6 and make a plan to renew the old memberships and distribute the new memberships within October. Similarly, it is mentioned that it will be sent to the central organization for verification by November 26.

Similarly, in ideological work, discussions and debates will be conducted on the draft document to be presented at the convention and training will also be conducted. In the same way, a plan has been put forward to emphasize the promotional work focused on the convention as well as to collect the necessary funds for the convention. The party is going to collect membership fees and levy for the convention through special financial support. Under office management, every committee should keep a record of its level in an orderly manner and send it regularly to the higher committee.

The party has also prioritized public awareness campaign in its action plan, where public awareness programs on corruption, commission system, caste discrimination, and untouchability will be continued. In the same way, in the eighth point of the action plan, in the coming month of October, a campaign will be conducted on economic, social, educational and good governance issues that the party has been raising and should raise. CPN (US) has stated to make it nationwide.
