Meeting to remove parliament obstruction ends without conclusion

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The meeting called by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to end the obstruction of the parliament, has ended without a conclusion. 

An understanding was not reached on the matter, in a discussion between the main opposition party, other opposition parties and the ruling parties.

CPN UML has been continuously obstructing the parliament demanding the formation of an investigation committee in the recent gold smuggling case. The meetings held till now to open the Parliament have been unsuccessful.
