Possible agendas in HoR meeting today

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The House of Representatives meeting under the federal parliament has been called for 1 pm today.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire will read out the letters related to the assignment and Bill authentication received from the President’s office, as informed by the parliament Secretariat.

Similarly, Speaker Ghimire will also read out the letters related to the assignment received from the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, alter the names of the members of the subjective committee under the House of Representatives, and submit an order to remove the obstacles.

As CPN UML has been continuously obstructing the parliament demanding the formation of an investigation committee in the recent gold smuggling scandal, it is not sure whether the meeting will enter into the agendas or not.
