Parliament obstruction will be lifted from Sunday: Prachanda

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Prime Minister and the Chairman of CPN-Maoist Centre, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, has said that the obstruction of the Parliament will be lifted from Sunday.

Prime Minister Dahal visited the Central Office of Maoists in Parisdanda and paid his respects to the late Rambrikshya Yadav on his Memorial Day today. 

Dahal said this in a conversation with News Agency Nepal on Yadav's Memorial Day. He also mentioned that he has been continuously trying to end the obstructions in the Parliament.

He assured that he will try to end the obstruction today by discussing with the ruling coalition and the primary opposition party.

"You already know that we have been taking continuous measures. Just yesterday, he [Oli] visited Baluwatar with the Speaker and we had a discussion with him", Prachanda said, "We are increasing our efforts [to end the obstruction] within this evening. I am hopeful that the House will open tomorrow."
