President Paudel to call first all-party meeting
KATHMANDU, Aug 17: President Ramchandra Paudel is going to call an all-party meeting for the first time to end the obstructions in Parliament.
President Paudel's Chief Political Adviser, Sunil Thapa, informed Ratopati that the meeting will be held on either Saturday or Sunday.
"It has been decided to call an all-party meeting. He has yet to meet leaders of all parties since becoming the president", Thapa said, "He wishes to meet everyone to understand the current situation."
President Paudel had a meeting with Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuwa last Friday. President Paudel had also held discussions with Prime Minister Prachanda, Speaker Devraj Ghimire and the Chairman of the National Assembly, Ganesh Timilsina, on this topic.
