Weather Today: Heavy rain chances in Koshi and Madhes Provinces

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: The monsoon low-pressure line is north of the tentative areas. As a result, it is partially to generally cloudy across the country, and light rain is falling in some places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali Provinces according to the Weather Forecast Division.

Partly to generally cloudy skies will prevail across the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain is expected at some places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces and a few places in other provinces.

During the night, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places of Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in other provinces. Also, there is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in one or two places of Koshi and Madhes provinces, the department has informed.
