Maoist office bearers hold meeting to reorganize Council of Ministers

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: The meeting of the office bearers of the CPN Maoists Centre is being held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar to reorganize the Council of Ministers.

A member of the Prime Minister's secretariat informed that the office bearers meeting was held soon after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' returned to Kathmandu after a visit to his home district Chitwan.

Chairman Prachanda is going to revoke the post of one of the ministers from the Maoists in order to participate Janamat Party in the government.

The Janamat Party had previously recommended Anit Kumari Shah as a minister. According to sources from Baluwatar, the plan is to revoke either Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati or General Administration Minister Amanlal Modi from their post as ministers.
