Congress parliamentary party meeting sitting today

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: The parliamentary party meeting of the Nepali Congress has been called for 1 pm today. The meeting will be held at the Lotse Hall of the parliament building in New Baneshwar.

The chief whip of the parliamentary party, Ramesh Lekhak, said that the meeting is being held to discuss opening the obstructed houses, bills pending in the house, as well as new bills.

According to him, the role of Congress in the Parliament in the coming days and the issue of public livelihood will be discussed in the meeting. Lekhak said that the attention of the government should be drawn to the prevention of dengue, treatment of eye disease, and control of lumpy skin disease in cattle.
