Maoist team returns home after Delhi visit

KATHMANDU, July 29: The team of the CPN Maoist Centre that went to New Delhi at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has returned home.

The team that went to New Delhi a week ago returned home on Friday night. The team led by Vice Chairman Pampha Bhushal included Secretary Chakrapani Khanal, standing committee member Satya Pahadi and central members Suresh Kumar Rai and Rameshwar Raya Yadav.

During the week-long visit to Delhi, the Maoist team held a meeting with BJP Chairman Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Minister Smriti Irani and others at the party headquarters.

BJP invited the Maoist Centre to Delhi to expand the relationship between the two parties. The party has been inviting various parties from different countries to expand their relations with political parties around the world.
