Airport Customs Office Chief Pokharel removed from responsibility, replaced by Tokraj Pandey

KATHMANDU, The Ministry of Finance has relieved the Chief of the Customs Office of the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Arun Pokharel, from his responsibilities. Pokharel has been relieved from his responsibilities for investigation after around a quintal of gold passed through TIA’s customs check pass, informed the Ministry.

According to the spokesperson of the Ministry and Joint Secretary Dhaniram Sharma, Pokharel will be replaced by Joint Secretary Tokraj Pandey. Pandey was posted to the Ministry of Finance from the Department of National Personnel Records only Sunday.
