Woman drowned in pond

Gaushala,  A woman drowned in a pond at Ekdara rural municipality of Mahottari district on Tuesday. She is 60-year-old Shantidevi Bhandari of Ekdara Rural Municipality-2. 

A physically disabled person, Bhandari was found drowned in the pond in the forest nearby the settlement, police said. 

It is said that Bhandari had gone to the forest to attend nature's call and she might have fallen into the pond while cleaning. The body has been taken to the Mhottari District Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
