Lightning kills adolescent in Gulmi

BUTWAL, July 13: A lightning strike killed an adolescent girl aged around 15 in Gulmi.

The deceased has been identified as Tika Balal of Musikot municipality-1, Neta.

According to the Chief Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Office, Nabin Kishor Pradhan, Balal sustained injuries in a lightning strike that occurred on Wednesday evening.

The lightning strike hit her while she was at her home. She died during treatment at Burtibang Primary Health Centre in Baglung.
