Youth arrested for locking up 16-year-old at home

LALITPUR, July 12: A youth has been arrested on the charge of locking up a 16-year-old girl at home. 20-year-old Suman Nyasur from Mahankal Rural Municipality-3 was arrested by the Police on Tuesday afternoon.

The Police received a complaint on July 9 that a 16-year-old girl had gone missing since the evening of the 7th of July, and another complaint on July 11 that Suman had kept the girl locked up in a house located at Buddha Thokar in Mahankal Rural Municipality-6.

After receiving the complaint, Suman was arrested by the Police deployed from Tungun Area Police Office during the investigation. The deadline for the case has been extended by 5 days, and further investigation is being conducted by the Police.
