Price of gold and silver drops this week

KATHMANDU, June 24: The price of gold and silver has fallen sharply this week. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 2,000 per tola and the price of silver has dropped by Rs 90 per tola.

Last Friday, the price of hallmarked fine gold was Rs 111 thousand and 800 per tola and the price of Tejabi gold was Rs 111 thousand 250 per tola. This Friday, the price of hallmarked fine gold stands at 109 thousand and 800 rupees per tola and the price of acid gold is at 109 thousand 300 rupees per tola. Similarly, the price of silver has also fallen sharply this week. Last Friday, the price of silver remained at 1425 rupees per tola. The price of silver has dropped to Rs 1335 this week.
