Birgunj Metropolitan announces budget of 3 billion 213 million 500 thousand

KATHMANDU, June 21: Birgunj Metropolitan has brought a budget of Rs 3 billion 213 million and 544 thousand for the upcoming fiscal year 2080/81. The budget was made public on Wednesday.

Out of the total allocation, Rs 2 billion 488 million 505 thousand is allocated on the current side which is 77 percent, Rs 688 million 715 thousand on the capital side which is 22 percent, and Rs 36 million 324 thousand is allocated on the financial side i.e. 1 percent.

1 billion 204 million 430 thousand from internal revenue is among the resources that the metropolitan will incur the estimated expenses for the upcoming fiscal year. Similarly, the metropolitan said that it will collect 1 billion 332 million 100 thousand from the financial transfer of the government of Nepal, 252 million 470 thousand from the distribution of federal revenue, 44 million 595 thousand from the province, and 28 million 700 thousand from the provincial revenue.
