Jeetpur, CPN (UML) district committee member and ward member of Kapilvastu Municipality- 6, Yagya Prasad Dahal, died of a heart-attack. According to the family source, the 52-year-old Khanal of Barmelitole-6 who suffered a cardiac arrest breathed his last on the way to a hospital. He is survived by his two spouses, one daughter and two sons. His last rites were performed at the Ramghat this morning, according to UML district member Yubraj Pokhrel.
The CPN (UML) Kapilvastu has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Khanal.
Meanwhile, a girl died as she fell into a bucket full of water here Thursday. The year-old daughter of local Abdul Ajij of Mauwa Katauriya of Buddhabhumi Municipality-6 accidently fell into in a bucket full of water while she was playing nearby a water tap, according to the area police office, Gorusinge. Though she was rescued alive, she died on the way to a hospital. Her body was handed to the family following a post-mortem Thursday itself.
