Truck carrying fertilizer to Palpa seized

BUTWAL, June 10: A truck carrying illegal fertilizer to Palpa was seized by the police on Saturday. The truck was seized in Hoongi Kaligandaki Corridor located in Rambha Rural Municipality-1. 

According to the information provided by the District Police Office of Palpa, 372 sacks of illegal manure were seized from the truck numbered Lu 2 Kha 381 which was being taken to Palpa from Nawalparasi.

District Police Office Palpa's Information Officer of DSP Birendra Thapa informed that Rs 297,600 worth of fertilizer has been seized. The driver was also arrested in the process. The driver and the fertilizer are being investigated according to the police.
