NEPSE Index decreases by 17 points, with 1.973 billion rupees turnover

KATHMANDU, June 5: NEPSE Index has decreased by 17.38 points on the second trading day of the week, which saw a 53-point increase on the first day. According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), NEPSE Index decreased by 17.38 points, reaching 1901.99 points. Similarly, the Sensitive Index also saw a 2.88-point decrease, reaching 362.22 points.

According to NEPSE, more than 5 million 620 thousand shares were traded today with a turnover of 1 billion 973 million 491 thousand rupees.

All the 13 sub-indices are negative today and the market has declined. However, the share price of River Falls Power Limited has taken a positive circuit, while Shivam Cement's price has decreased by 4.50 percent today.
