3 dead and 15 injured in jeep accident in Palpa

BUTWAL, June 4: Three people have died in a jeep accident in Palpa. The accident took place on Sunday evening in a jeep numbered Lu 1 Cha 9024 en route to Panena in Arghakhanchi from Saljhandi, Rupandehi.

3 people died on the spot when a jeep accident occurred at Chille Bheda located in Palpa’s Rainadevi Chhahara Rural Municipality Ward no. 6, the Police stated.

According to the Palpa District Police Office’s DSP Birendra Thapa, 15 people were injured in the accident. The locals and the police were rescuing the injured, he told Ratopati.

The body of the deceased was sent to Butwal for post-mortem according to the Police. The police said that the deceased could not be identified.
