Gold price sets new record: Reaches Rs 113,300 per Tola

KATHMANDU, June 2: The gold price has set a new record in Nepal. Hallmarked fine gold priced at Rs 112, 500 the previous day, has increased by Rs 800 reaching Rs 113,000 per tola.

The price of Tejabi gold also increased by Rs 800 reaching Rs 112, 750 per tola, according to Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association.

The price of silver has reached Rs 1, 435 per tola after increasing by Rs 25 on Friday. The silver was traded for Rs 1,410 per tola the previous day.

It's important to note that one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
