Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs welcomes PM Dahal in Delhi

KATHMANDU, May 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has reached India's Capital New Delhi. PM Dahal who departed for India at 1:30 pm on Wednesday on a Nepal Airlines flight, landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at 2:50 pm. Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi welcomed Prime Minister Dahal at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. 

PM Dahal is accompanied by the Physical Infrastructure Minister Prakash Jwala, Energy Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Foreign Affairs Minister NP Saud, Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Industry Minister Ramesh Rijal and others.

PM Dahal, who is on a four-day visit to India, will hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House on Thursday. During the visit to India, there is a program to discuss electricity expansion, promotion of Indian investment in electricity, implementation of agreements with India, border disputes, operation of checkpoints, etc.

PM Dahal went to India on the official invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The team led by the Prime Minister is scheduled to return home on June 3.
