Revenue collection estimated to be only 1.179 Trillion

KATHMANDU, May 29: The revenue collection is estimated to be 1 Trillion 179 Billion 840 Million in the current fiscal year. In the budget statement announced by Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, it is said that it is only 84 percent compared to the target, which is 5.9 percent less than the previous year.

Due to the import control measures taken in the current fiscal year, contraction in economic activity, etc., it is estimated that the revenue collection will be less than the target.
