5 dead in Rukum Pashchim Jeep accident

SURKHET, May 25: 5 people died in a jeep accident that occurred in the Banfikot Rural Municipality of Rukum Pashchim on Thursday at 7 am. Police have informed that they died at the accident site.
70-year-old Karna Bahadur Bada Magar, 50-year-old Deuchan Khatri, 22-year-old Rekha Khanal, her son Roshan KC, and one more person died, informed Rukum Pashchim Police.
The Jeep numbered Lu 1 Ja 1747 which left for Khalanga of Rukum Pashchim from Sanobheri Rural Municipality, fell around 400 meters from the road, according to Police.
10 people have been injured in the accident and local Police are currently engaged in the rescue operation.
