Amendment proposals filed by 20 MPs on policies and programs

KATHMANDU, May 21: 20 MPs have filed amendment proposals on the policies and programs for the coming financial year 2080/81 of the government.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the parliament through the meeting today that 20 MPs have registered notices with amendment proposals on various points of the policies and programs.

MPs Shyam Kumar Ghimire and Dilendra Prasad Badu from the ruling party Nepali Congress, have filed amendment proposals on the policies and programs.

Eknath Dhakal, Basudev Ghimire, Surya Bahadur Thapa Chhetri, Narayan Prasad Acharya, Julikumari Mahato (Mahaseth), Bhagwati Chaudhary, Jwalakumari Sah, Dayal Bahadur Shahi, Damodar Poudel Bairagi, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula and Surya Prasad Dhakal are the MPs from the main opposition party CPN (UML) to have proposed amendments.

Similarly, the MPs to file amendment proposals from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party are Chanda Karki Bhandari, Sobita Gautam and Sumana Shrestha. Likewise, Rashtriya Janamorcha MP Chitra Bahadur KC, Nepal Workers Peasants' Party MP Prem Suwal, Nagarik Unmukti Party MP Gangaram Chaudhary and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party MP Ramprakash Chaudhary have also filed amendment proposals.
