Balkrishna Khand's statement begins at Government Attorney's office

KATHMANDU, May 15: Former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand, who is in police custody in the fake Bhutanese refugee case, has been taken to the District Government Attorney's office in Kathmandu.

On Sunday, the court extended the deadline of four days against the 12 accused including Khand and the police have taken Khand for a statement on Monday. The Government Attorney's office had instructed the police on Sunday to submit the investigation report of the accused within four days.

Achyutmani Neupane, the head of the District Government Attorney's Office, told Ratopati that the statement of the former Minister Khand has started.
