One infected with COVID-19, dengue dies in Seti Hospital

SUDURPASHCHIM, May 4: A patient diagnosed with COVID-19 and dengue infections at the Seti Province Hospital, Dhangadi died last night. The 30-year-old male had been on ventilator support since May 2. Before this, he underwent nerve surgery on April 7, according to Hospital information officer Mekhraj Upadhyay. 

He tested positive for COVID-19 on April 30 and for dengue after two days and was put on ventilator support. 

Prior to this, a woman died of COVID-19 at the hospital's ICU on April 16.  The hospital says it has been registering an increasing number of cases of COVID-19 infections since last month.
