President Paudel taken to India for treatment

KATHMANDU, April 19: President Paudel has been taken to India for treatment. 

President Paudel was admitted to Maharajgunj Teaching Hospital on Tuesday after he started having problems with his health. He has been taken to India for further treatment after his chest infection did not subside.

President Paudel was taken to India from Tribhuvan Airport at 10 am by the Air Ambulance of Shree Airlines. Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha, and Foreign Minister NP Saud reached the airport to see Paudel off. Paudel's medical team as well as his family members have also gone with him.

President Paudel will be treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

The Secretariat of President Paudel said that the doctor treating Paudel suggested taking him to India for further treatment after his chest infection did not subside even after taking medicine for a long time.
