Lumbini Province Assembly meeting called, CM to take vote of confidence

DANG, April 17: The meeting of the Lumbini Province Assembly will be held on April 24, 2023.

Chief Minister Leela Giri is preparing to take the vote of confidence in the meeting. Province Assembly Secretary Durlabh Kumar Pun said that however,  no proposal has been registered in the Province Assembly for a vote of confidence yet. 

As the vote of confidence has to be taken within the 25th of April, the Chief Minister's Office sources said that preparations have been made to take the vote of confidence in the meeting to be held on the 24th of April. 

As per the power equation, after the parties including the Maoists withdrew their support given to the government on March 26, Giri is going to re-take the vote of confidence.
