Mukunda Neupane leaves CPN (US)

KATHMANDU, April 8: CPN Unified Socialist leader Mukunda Neupane has declared his withdrawal from the party. Holding a press conference in Kathmandu on Saturday, he announced that he abandoned all the responsibilities of the party and is not even an ordinary member of the party.

Referring to a statement by Lenin, which said "It is more important in life to live as a respected citizen than to become a leader of a party without a future", he announced that he abandoned the party after imbibing the statement.

He has said, "To separate from the dialectical materialistic philosophy of change by throwing away the lines of thought and philosophy, without analyzing the objective situation, putting two four words of Marxism forward and pouring out a classical narrative based on objective subjective thinking is to turn oneself into a bucket without a bottom. No matter how many times you dip it in the well and pull it up, it will be empty. Today, the condition of some leaders of the leadership of CPN Unified Socialist Party and some workers of the lower committee is similar. Fighting for the position of MP, fighting to get ministers as soon as they become MPs, no matter how much you eat, you will never be full."

In the meeting of the Central Committee on February 4 and 5, he demanded for discussions on 33 different points including his opinion. But he has complained that there has been no discussion so far. Stating that he has traveled 54 years in political life, he has mentioned that he left the party thinking that being a good citizen of the country would be better than being a member of the party complying with Communist worker methods, procedures and organizational structure.
