Candidates file nominations for upcoming HoR by-elections

KATHMANDU, April 3: On Monday, candidates from various political parties filed their nominations for the upcoming by-elections of the House of Representatives (HoR) in three constituencies of Nepal.

In Bara-2, thirty-six candidates are vying for the position. Among the candidates, Sonelal Yadav is representing the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Ramesh Kharel is representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Purushottam Poudel representing the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist-Leninist (CPN-UML), Dr. Kamarualla Ansari is representing the Nagarik Unmukti Party, and Upendra Yadav is representing the Janata Samajbadi Party.

In Chitwan-2, twenty-four candidates have filed their nominations. Among them, Jeetnarayan Shrestha is representing the Nepali Congress, Rabi Lamichhane is representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Ram Prasad Neupane is representing the CPN-UML, Jeev Lal Puri is representing the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Shambhu Thapa is representing the Hamro Nepali Party, and Rajesh Adhikari is representing the Nagarik Unmukti Party.

In Tanahun-1, nine candidates have filed their nominations. Swarnim Wagle is representing the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, while Govinda Bhattarai is representing the Nepali Congress.
