Earthquakes in Dolakha and Lamjung

KATHMANDU, April 1: An earthquake was recorded with its epicenter at Suri in the Dolakha district this morning. The earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 11:27 am according to the National Seismological Centre, Lainchour.

The jolt of the earthquake was also experienced in Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap, Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot, and Kathmandu Valley.

And another earthquake was recorded with its epicenter at Maling in the Lamjung district. According to the National Seismological Centre, Lainchour, the earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale was recorded at 11:39 am.

The hilly and mountainous regions of Nepal are considered to be at great risk of quakes.
