Taplejung struck by 4.6 magnitude earthquake: Tremors felt across eastern Nepal

MARCH 29: Late last night, the mountainous district of Taplejung in eastern Nepal was hit by a 4.6 magnitude earthquake, with its epicenter located in Syao.

The National Centre for Seismology confirmed the earthquake occurred at 11:41 pm on Tuesday night and was felt in numerous eastern districts.

This comes amidst a series of recent earthquakes reported in both the eastern and western regions of Nepal.
