Weather Update: Hilly Regions of Nepal expected to receive light rainfall, thunderstorms

KATHMANDU, MARCH 26: The Hydrology and Weather Forecasting Division has reported that there will be a partial to normal change in the weather this afternoon in the hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. This is due to the general influence of westerly winds and local winds in the country.

The forecast also suggests a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in a few places in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in one or two places in other hilly regions of Nepal.

Later tonight, one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces may also experience light rain with thunderstorms. Additionally, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are likely to experience light rainfall on Monday.
