Vice Presidential Election: Rastriya Swatantra Party to vote for Janamat Party

KATHMANDU, March 17: The Rastriya Swatantra Party has decided to vote for the Janamat Party in the vice presidential election.

The party has already issued a circular directing its lawmakers to vote for Janamat Party.

Mamata Jha is contesting in the election representing the Janamat Party. Voting is currently underway at the federal parliament building in Kathmandu.

The competition features three candidates vying for the position, namely Asta Laxmi Shakya of the CPN-UML, Mamata Jha representing the Janamat Party, and Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, of the Janata Samajbadi Party.
