SC refuses to give interim order in case filed against PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, March 10: The Supreme Court has refused to issue an interim order in the case filed against Prime Minister Prachanda. On Friday, the bench of Justice headed by Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada refused to grant an interim order as per the demand of the petitioner.

The court has given priority to the case and issued an order in the name of Prachanda to submit a written answer within 15 days.

Advocates Dr. Surendra Bhandari, Balkrishna Neupane, Dinesh Tripathi, Shivkumar Yadav, Gyanendra Aran, Maniram Upadhyay, Anantaraj Luintel and Dhrubalal Shrestha argued on behalf of the writ petitioner in today's hearing.

Regarding Prachanda's statements a while back, 14 people including advocate Gyanendraraj Aran and Chiranjeevi Vas Giri filed separate writs against him.
