Aam Janata Party to support Ram Chandra Paudel

KATHMANDU, March 4: The Aam Janata Party (AJP) chaired by MP and former Minister Prabhu Sah has supported Nepali Congress senior leader Ramchandra Paudel in the presidential election. 

Paudel has represented the eight-party alliance in the presidential election. 

AJP spokesperson Chandrabhushan Sah supported the candidature of Paudel and said that he would vote for him. 

"I express my congratulations and best wishes for the victory in advance with deep hope and confidence that the common symbol of national unity will perform his duties efficiently according to the paramount interest of the country and the people," Sah said.

According to the Election Commission, the election for the post of the 4th President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is scheduled to be held on the 9th of March. 

In the election, Ramchandra Poudel from the eight-party alliance and Subashchandra Nemwang from the UML have given their candidature.
