Collective resignation by 8 medical officers of Inaruwa Hospital

KATHMANDU, Feb. 10: 8 medical officers of Sunsari's Inaruwa Hospital have submitted their collective resignation. They resigned as a group on Friday saying that the medical superintendent has given silent support to the person who gives mental stress to the doctors, abuses and threatens them.
Dr. Mahesh Kumar Shah, Dr. Ratikumar Yadav, Dr. Ashish Dev, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Dr. Shreya Pangeni, Dr. Kritika Hamal, Dr. Dipendra Mehta, and Dr. Birendra Mandal are the doctors that submitted the resignation.
It has been mentioned in the letter that the Ministry of Social Development, the District Administration Office, the Nepal Medical Association, and the Hospital Management Committee were also informed about the frequent verbal abuse, threats and mental torture.
