Parliamentary committee being formed in Bagmati

MAKAWANPUR, Feb. 6: A parliamentary committee will be formed in the Bagmati Province. The process of formation of the parliamentary committee is going to be started in the meeting of the Provincial Assembly on Monday. The state assembly meeting has been called at 12 noon for the formation of the parliamentary committee.
The committee will be formed today according to the decision of the all-party meeting held at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat on Sunday to proceed with the necessary process for the formation of the committee. In the provincial assembly meeting held on Sunday, a working arrangement consultation committee was also formed. A 16-member Working Arrangements Consultative Committee was formed by the meeting of the Provincial Assembly held on Sunday to assist the speaker in the work of the Provincial Assembly, the agenda of the meeting, and the needs.
The committee has 4 members from Nepali Congress, 3 from CPN-UML, 2 from Maoist Center, and one member from other parties. The committee will be headed by Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak, while Deputy Speaker Apsara Chapagain and Provincial Internal Affairs and Law Minister Ganga Narayan Shrestha will be provincial members.
Today's provincial assembly meeting will form another 5 parliamentary committees of the provincial assembly. In the Provincial Assembly, there are Provincial Affairs, Finance and Development Committee, Public Accounts Committee, Education Health and Agriculture Committee, and Industry Tourism and Environment Committee.
