Japan supports Kirtipur Eye Hospital

KATHMANDU, Feb. 1: Embassy of Japan in Nepal issued a press release on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, after the Government of Japan handed over medical equipment for Diabetic Retinopathy patients to Kirtipur Eye Hospital, Kathmandu today.

It has been stated in the press release that the medical equipment has been installed in the hospital with the support of 154,100 US dollars under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) of the Government of Japan.

It is also stated that the Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, H.E. Kikuta Yutaka attended the ceremony, and congratulated and appreciated the efforts of everyone involved in the project on the occasion.
