5 players and 5 officials involved in spot-fixing

KATHMANDU, Jan. 24: Two players have been arrested for 'spot fixing' in Nepal T-20 League cricket. Adil Ansari, a member of the national cricket team, and Mehbub Alam, a former national player, were arrested for the allegation.
The preliminary investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation revealed that 5 players including Ansari and Alam were involved in 'spot fixing'. According to an official of the Central Bureau of Investigation, the involvement of 5 officials has also been seen in the fixing.
The officer said that the involvement of 5 officials was seen including Jatin Ahluwalia, the owner of Seven-3 Sports, the company entrusted with the management of T-20 League cricket.
Foreign players have also been seen involved in 'spot fixing'. And as the league is over now, the foreign players are not in Nepal.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has organized a press conference to inform about spot-fixing. The Central Bureau of Investigation said that it will be informed about the fixing by holding a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
