Deputy Speaker election (with work list)

KATHMANDU, Jan. 21: The election of the Deputy Speaker is being held in the fourth session of the House of Representatives. In the meeting, as per the work list, MP Sobita Gautam, on behalf of the ruling alliance, will propose that Indira Rana Magar be elected as the Deputy Speaker of the HoR, and UML MPs Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Narayani Sharma, and Rajendra Prasad Lingden will support the agenda.
Similarly, on behalf of the opposition party, Badriprasad Pandey will propose that Mukta Kumari Yadav should be elected as the Deputy Speaker of the HoR, and MPs Metmani Choudhary and Sarvendranath Shukla will support the agenda.
