Maoist leader Pun to undergo liver transplant

KATHMANDU, Jan. 18: Deputy Secretary General of CPN Maoist Center and former Minister Barshaman Pun will undergo a liver transplant. Pun was being treated at Sumeru Hospital in Lalitpur and the doctors suggested a liver transplant.
Dr. Yuvraj Sharma, a doctor at Sumeru Hospital, informed that there is a discussion going on about where to do the liver transplant outside the country because there may be problems doing so in Nepal.
