Indian citizen accused of child rape arrested from Nijgadh

BARA, Jan. 3: Area Police Office Nijgadh has arrested an Indian citizen on the charge of raping a 15-year-old minor.

37-year-old Lalbabu Chaudhary of India, Muzaffarpur, currently living in rent in Nijgadh Municipality Ward no. 9 was taken into custody by the Police.

Inspector Oli informed that Chaudhary was arrested after the victim's relatives informed the Police that he had forcibly raped the girl.

Police Inspector Oli of the Nijgadh District Police Office said that an investigation has been started against Chaudhary under the extortion case after receiving a deadline from the district court.
