Visa fees for workers going to Korea through EPS increased

KATHMANDU, Dec. 30: The visa fee has increased for workers going to South Korea through the Korean Language Test (EPS). The Korean Embassy in Nepal has increased the visa fee and it will be in effect from January 1, 2023. So far, the embassy has charged a visa fee of 7,200 rupees. From now on, the fee has been increased by Rs. 600 to Rs. 7,800.
In order to complete the necessary procedures before issuing the visa (CCVI), the person himself has to attend the EPS office and submit the CCVI form. From now on, people who fill out the form will have to pay 7,800 rupees for the visa fee, according to the EPS Korea branch. People who have already submitted the CCVI form and have not been issued a visa will also have to pay an additional fee.
The office has requested to pay an additional 600 rupees to the people who have submitted the CCVI form before, as they will go to the Korean Embassy in Nepal only after January 1, 2023, for the visa to be issued.
