Senior journalist Shrestha no more

KATHMANDU, Dec. 30: Senior Journalist Manindra Lal Shrestha passed away today morning. Shrestha, who was undergoing treatment for cancer for a long time, passed away at his own residence in Pepsicola, Kathmandu.

The 79-year-old Shrestha was born in Basantapur of Palpa and served on the National News Committee (RSS) for nearly three decades. His family includes his wife, three daughters, and a son.

Family sources said that he will be cremated today at Aryaghat in Pashupati.
