AIG Bishwa Raj Pokharel resigns from his post

KATHMANDU, July 18: Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Bishwaraj Pokharel has resigned from his post on Monday.
His resignation came days after the Supreme Court passed a verdict in a favor of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dhiraj Pratap Singh dismissing a writ petition filed by Pokharel against the government’s decision to appoint Singh to the post of IGP.
