Poll body seeks clarification from RPP

KATHMANDU, July 12: The Election Commission (EC) has sought clarification from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) after Shyam Timalsina, leader of the party, filed a complaint at the poll body.

Timalsina has maintained that the party has not presented the statute that was endorsed by the party’s general convention at the Election Commission. The applicant has also termed it as an illegal move.

The poll body on Tuesday sent a letter to RPP seeking clarification regarding the issue within three days. Likewise, the EC has also maintained that some of the central committee members of the party have been found to be in the name list of other political parties as well.
